Me and Kaitlyn
I have to say, it's kind of nice when Becky picks up my camera and takes some shots. I do have to say that she's a natural at it as well, I'm sure she got that way from her Dad or Joel.
Shadows of a Pier
Taken in Belmar, NJ under the fishing bridge. I loved the way the sun made this pattern on the sand.

That little dot? Yeah, that's EARTH
This is the first image ever taken of Earth from the surface of a planet beyond the Moon. It was taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit one hour before sunrise on the 63rd martian day, or sol, of its mission. The image is a mosaic of images taken by the rover's navigation camera showing a broad view of the sky, and an image taken by the rover's panoramic camera of Earth. The contrast in the panoramic camera image was increased two times to make Earth easier to see.more here

My crazy women!
Today is Paige's first day of school for this year. It's also her last year in pre school. I can't believe it!
Anyway, we took some pictures today before she went off to school and this is my favorite!
It perfectly shows their personality - happy and nuts!!

Monarch: From caterpillar to a full fledged butterfly
Paige immediately named it "Stripey". Well, we placed Stripey in Paige's bug collector after I took some pictures and after dinner - we noticed that Stripey had started to make a cocoon! What do we have here????? Scmmrrrrrr.
The first picture was taken on August 26th, 2007, and the "release" happened today September 8th, 2007. 13 lucky days!

Haleakala at dawn
The peak of Haleakala volcano, at 10,023 feet (3055 m) above sealevel is the highest point on Maui, the third-highest point in the state and may be the "peak" of your experience at Haleakala National Park.
This was taken in July 2002 on our honeymoon. We will be heading back there this October for our 5th anniversary after my work trip.
Becky poster
I love this picture of Beck and was messing around with fd's Flickr Toys (http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/) and made this.

Jessica & Paige
My niece Jessica and Paige spinning around in the yard.
I can't believe how old Jessica is already, and I'm looking at a picture of my brother's daughter and my own.
Time flys by kids - enjoy every second of it today!
