The Lehigh Valley Grand Prix was hopping. I would say there were 40-50 people there racing, in the party room and watching. The deal is that you get 8 minutes of racing for $18.00 (with a membership), and you are racing against the clock. During our heat, there were maybe 15 people on the track at the same time. Needless to say, I may have found *another* expensive addiction!

Ahhh, Summer
I am going through all my archives so we can order picutres for the basement. Our plan is to have a line of 8x10 pictures in frames from one wall all the way around the basement and back. Should be a fun project.

POTATOES
An old man lived alone in the country. He wanted to dig his potato garden but it was very hard work as the ground was hard. His only son Fred, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.
Dear Fred,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over I know you would dig the plot for me.
Love,
Dad
A few days later he received a letter from his son.
Dear Dad,
For heaven's sake, don't dig up that garden! That's where I buried the BODIES!
Love,
Fred
At 4am the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love,
Fred

Rising moon, SW Harbor ME
Taken on Christmas eve.
I used a flashlight on the birch tree in the foreground to "paint" it with light so it had some depth. The moon is way overexposed, but when it's that bright - if it was perfectly exposed it would be the only thing you could see.
....oh, that's a little Christmas tree at the end of the dock.
Lonely pooch
Taken on the docks in South West Harbor Maine. You are looking down 4 floating docks stacked on top of each other.
Throwing stones into the sea
Paige was tossing stones into the sea and I was lucky enough to capture this.
Is this good?
I booted her up and heard a lot of clicking and whirring. Hmm, sounds eerily familiar.
However, this time I listened to my own recommendation. Every single file has been backed up to my Western Digital external hard drive.
Now I have to decide - laptop or desktop for the office?
Poor Kaitlyn
Becky said she cried for 1/2 hour straight and that's just not like her, so we decided to take her to the ER and after 4 hours and an x-ray - all is OK. Just some bruising.
Whenever she smiles, it hurts her. I was trying to take a picture of her eye and she kept on smiling and wincing at the same time. :-(

Piglet, Pooh, & Tigger
Paige drew this on her white board all by herself.
For those who are counting she is 4 1/2.
