Biker Night

This was taken at my company conference in Maui, HI last week. (did I have to put HI there? I swear that I'm not rubbing it in - there could be another Maui, right?)

Anyway, too bad you can't see it, but I'm wearing leather chaps. And, yes, they are assless. ALL CHAPS ARE ASSLESS! Do you have any idea how many people commented about my assless chaps? Like 1000 at least.

That's me on the left with my new tattoo, Todd, Amy, Rich, and Boom on the right. More of my shots to come, but Amy emailed this to me today and I loved it!

I've officially been awake for 26 hours and watched the sun rise in Philadelphia and set in Maui today.

I am getting picked up at 3:30am tomorrow and getting whisked away to Maui, Hawaii for my company's incentive trip where I'll spend 9 days at the Grand Wailea on Maui, then jet off to the big island of Hawai'i for volcano hikes and boat excursions.

I have to say, it's kind of nice when Becky picks up my camera and takes some shots. I do have to say that she's a natural at it as well, I'm sure she got that way from her Dad or Joel.

Taken in Belmar, NJ under the fishing bridge. I loved the way the sun made this pattern on the sand.

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

- 29 have been accused of spousal abuse - 7 have been arrested for fraud - 19 have been accused of writing bad checks - 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses - 3 have done time for assault - 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit - 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges - 8 have been arrested for shoplifting - 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits - 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year Can you guess which organization this is? Give up yet? It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line. source

Someone's getting fired!

That little dot? Yeah, that's EARTH

This is the first image ever taken of Earth from the surface of a planet beyond the Moon. It was taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit one hour before sunrise on the 63rd martian day, or sol, of its mission. The image is a mosaic of images taken by the rover's navigation camera showing a broad view of the sky, and an image taken by the rover's panoramic camera of Earth. The contrast in the panoramic camera image was increased two times to make Earth easier to see.
