Beck and Paige in the middle car, Abby and Brian behind her.
Posted in honor and in awe of the original carnival photographer: jkirlin. I learned everything I know from watching you(r blog), Jeff. Your wide angle shots are 'Ansel Adams' compared to my measly 210 mm zoom (and crop) of this 'coaster.
Mr. JKirlin's carnie obsessions aside, the title of this shot alone makes it squee-worthy. The little boy's arms and the mom's face make it even awesomer. I like this A LOT.
ReplyDeleteHeh, and, uh, rereading your caption, "THE MOM'S FACE" would be your wife.
ReplyDeleteWell, let me tell you, she looks TERRIFIC when she goes on a roller coaster.
Nice save Josy!
ReplyDeleteNow, I just spent 5 minutes googling what squee-worthy meant! And for the rest of you third-graders out there: The Urban Dictionary defines Squee as:
"A noise primarily made by an over-excited fangirl, however it has spread rapidly and is now widely spread among the web community.
Omg!! New Harry Potter book out!! Omg Squee squee! omg!!!"
::laughs:: And you like it so much, you've put it in the title. Isn't it a great word? Even if you don't know the meaning, it's fun to just run around saying "SQUEEEEE!" in your best helium-voice falsetto.
