My buddy Lou and I went to Pocono practice with his son Michael. This was seconds after Elliott Sadler backed it into the wall.

And the damage. DOOOH, that's gonna leave a mark

I like this shot because of the little flag on the bottom and the "Pocono" on the wall in the background. You will have to click on the picture to make it bigger to see.

OK, you are at the most exciting place in the WORLD, there are NASCAR Nextel Cup cars going 200 miles per hour right in front of your eyes, but this kid needs to play a game. What is coming of our children? Look at the track man!

Every time I tried to take a picture of these guys, Michael hid his face!

So, I ran 10 minutes away to get beers (Lou paid - thank you) and I had just sat down and Michael had to go potty.

When they came back, I tried to snap this when he wasn't looking but the masterful Michael is quick with his hands!

(Notice the 24 car in the background by sheer luck)

Mmmmm, fries!

KURT!!!!!!!!!!! (I think he waived to me). Seriously, when some guys - like Jr. and Gordon came on the track for practice, fans jumped up and screamed "GO GET UM!". Ahhh, dude - it's p-r-a-c-t-i-c-e.

Kaitlyn fell asleep in the jungle. She looks just like her daddy with the way she puts her arms over her head. The other night, Beck and I went to sleep and checked on them both. They could have been twins - each had her arms exactly like this!

A shower, just for little ol' me?

Dibble dibble dibble dop.

We had a little rain here this afternoon. A LITTLE? Who am I kidding - a little like Noah had a little. Our sunflower is happy now.

Avon calling!

I'm not so sure I am OK with this. These lovely painted toes are those of miss Paige. And if you are counting, she is all of 2 years and 1 month old. Every time I ask her about them she gets so fired up! "Mommy painted toes! Whweeew wheew!" she tries to imitate Becky blowing them dry.

"Red toes!"

Welcome: Rubbing Is Racing Blog

Please welcome to the clickjack family of blogs: Rubbing is Racing.

A blog dedicated to NASCAR news, drivers, media, rants, and anything else I decide to talk about. I am also accepting applications for freelance writers. You won't get paid, will have stringent deadlines, and get black ink all over your favorite shortsleeve shirt. Just think of the upside: At least 20 people will read your copy.

Good luck at Daytona tonight, and we'll see you in victory lane.
