Pat, Great jokes! We did laugh out loud! We rejoice in your ability to retain your sense of good humor after viewing the pictures of your flood! The Kaine home was truly an Ark for awhile. Reminded us of the days in Flemingtion on Fairview Drive when we had water runoff all around us. Gives one a very special sense of uneasiness until it subsides. But the memory lingers.... Thank God you didn't suffer major loss of personal propery or worse. The newscast of the plight of the Haitians is overwhelming to see. Such poor folks to begin with. Then facing death, starvation and the destruction of what meager posessions they have acquired over time lost to Hurricanes that hit them every few years like clockwork. We have much for which to be thankful. Let's hope Jeanne passes way, way around Pine Knoll Shores and Easton this time. Hope you're enjoying all this nice fall weather! Regards, Mom and Dad
