You see.....Goodyear makes a new, high tech racing tire. The one you see in this clip is a prototype. It has a tiny chip in the rim that analyzes GPS data and specific track position, speed and track condition factors, the distance to the nearest tire safety pile, the proximity of other cars and tires on the track, and then deposits itself on the top row so that the Goodyear name is visible on TV. Naturally they are some period of time away from a consumer version. DASWH
