Chili: Our Fall Tradition

The week before every halloween, Joel and Becky make Chili. What I love mostly about it is that there is no recipe - Joel just knows it from memory - yet somehow it gets better every year.

  2. This is one of the best traditions ever.....from the days Joel and I were kids and our Mom made chili and pumpkin pie every Halloween. And now that I'm a mom.....the importance of tradition has never been more important to me. And there's nothing wrong with more whipped cream on a plate, is there?!?!?

  3. TRADITIONS!!!!!!!!! So how do we keep our balance in this crazy life? We have our TRADITIONS!!!!!!!!! Who is in charge of traditions...why the "older" folks! Change is necessary of course. But not at the expense of our treasured traditons! And the neat part of a tradtion is that you can start one the first time you try it! (A quote from Beck...) Dad.
